About number and composition population of ZAKARPATTIA REGION
by All-Ukrainian Population Census' 2001
The number of the urban population according to the All-Ukrainian Population Census ’2001 data, accounted for 466 thousand persons, rural population – 792.3 thousand persons. Compared with 1989 urban population decreased on 9.5% , rural population – increased by 7.5 %.
