During the All-Ukrainian Population Census besides actual there have been accounted permanent population, which is used in calculations of indices, characterizing socio-economic structure of the population.

Among permanent population citizens of Ukraine totaled 1,282.1 thousand people, citizens of other countries – 4.3 thousand people, including citizens of CIS – 4.2 thousand people. There were about 2.5 thousand persons without citizenship in region and those who haven’t specify their citizenship – 7.8 thousand people .
