About number and composition population of KIROVOHRAD REGION

   During the All-Ukrainian census of the population besides actual there have been accounted permanent population, which is used in calculations of indices, characterizing socio-economic structure of the population. Permanent population of Ukraine, at the date of 5 December 2001 accounted for 1 million 125.7 thousand people, including men - 516.6 thousand people, or 45.9%, that of women - 609.1 thousand people, or 54.1%;%, urban population – 675.2 thousand people, or 60%, that of rural population – 450.5 thousand people, or 40%.

    Among permanent population citizens of Ukraine totalled 1 million 120.1 thousand people, citizens of other countries – 3.5 thousand people, including citizens of CIS – 3.4 thousand people. There were about 2 thousand persons without citizenship.
