About number and composition population of DONETS'K REGION
by data All-Ukrainian Population Census '2001
According to the data of the All-Ukrainian population census , the total number of the actual population accounted for 4,841 thousand persons, or 10% of the population of Ukraine. The population density was 183 persons per sq. km. that higher than middle index in Ukraine (80 persons per sq. km.).
