About number and composition population of KHARKIV REGION

During the years that have passed since the census of the population ‘1989, the number of towns in Kharkiv region has increased by 1 and on the date of the All-Ukrainian census of the population ‘2001 there were 17 towns. Among them 5 towns numbered less than 20,000 inhabitants, 5 towns numbered more than 20 less than 30 thousand inhabitants, 4 towns numbered more than 30 less than 50 thousand inhabitants.Moreover,the population of Kharkiv -1,470,900 people.
