Foregoing data say about gradual decrease in gender disproportion in the population of Zhytomyr region, in 1989 there were 1163 women per 1000 men, in 2001 – 1159.
Since 1989 gender ratio has changed from 1173 women per 1000 men to 1151 women per 1000 men..
