About number and composition population of VOLYN REGION
by All-Ukrainian Population Census data
During the years that have passed since the census of the population ‘1989, number of town-type settlements increased by 2 and was 33 units, included 11 towns and 22 urban-type settlements. In the towns with regional status was 367.3 thousand persons, of which 208.8 thousand persons was in Luts'k town. The number of population of urban-type settlements was more than 100 thousand persons.
